A lot of people thought that Sean “Diddy” Combs was behind Jamie Foxx’s medical issue in 2023, but Foxx set the record straight.
“…I sneaked in my phone because I had a stroke and didn’t want to know what people were saying outside my room.” During a panel interview with The Hollywood Reporter that came out Thursday, Foxx talked about his time in the hospital and said, “I’m in f–kng perfect shape.”
“I see things like ‘Puffy tried to kill me.'” The star said, “No, Puffy didn’t try to kill me.”
That being said, the Oscar winner seemed more upset about another story that said he was cloned.
“I flipped when they told me I was a clone.” “As I lie in bed in the hospital, I feel like, ‘These s**tbags are trying to clone me,’” he joked.
The 57-year-old “Django Unchained” star has talked about the Combs conspiracy idea before, after the disgraced music mogul was arrested in September 2024.
The founder of Bad Boy Records is currently on trial for sex trafficking and crime. In his December 2016 Netflix stand-up special, “What Had Happened Was,” Foxx made fun of both the founder of Bad Boy Records and his own life-threatening health scare.
Foxx told the crowd, “The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me.” “I know what you’re thinking, Mr. Diddy.
“Hell no, I left those parties early,” he said, referring to Combs’ famous parties.
“Something [didn’t] look right” at the rapper’s parties, Foxx joked, so he was always “out by 9.” This is said to have led to wild sex acts called “Freak-Offs.”
Foxx told the audience in his comedy show that he had a brain bleed that turned into a stroke. At first, the star said that he was taken to the hospital because he had a “bad headache.”
He said that doctors told his sister Deidra Dixon, “We’re going to lose him if I don’t go in his head right now.”
Dixon was told, “We didn’t find where it was coming from, but he is having a stroke” after his treatment. He might be able to get better, but that year will be the worst of his life.
