As reports about their relationship continue to spread, Ana de Armas gave a hint that she was dating Tom Cruise.
She teased in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily that came out Thursday, “Obviously, everyone knows I’m working with Tom Cruise.”
Cruise and De Armas are “working on something” with Christopher McQuarrie and Doug Liman, who are both makers of action movies.
“I can’t believe how good those guys are at everything,” de Armas said. “They’re so nice and work well together, and the process is wonderful.”
The 37-year-old actress from “Knives Out” also talked about how hard it is on her body to work with the 62-year-old actor from “Top Gun” and his action movie co-stars.
“Of course I’m training like crazy, because that’s what you do when you work with Tom,” she said.
“It’s a new level that keeps raising the bar.” But I really enjoy it. Not only are we training for that thing, but we’re also working on a few other things. “We just got thrilled.”
De Armas said the same thing on “Good Morning America” on May 15: she is “working on a lot of things” with McQuarrie, Liman, and Cruise.
Cruise has worked with McQuarrie on several “Mission: Impossible” movies, and Liman has worked with Cruise on “American Made” (2017) and “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014).
Cruise and de Armas were seen landing at the London Heliport together more than once and going out to dinner together in March and April, which led to rumors that they were dating.
An insider told Us Weekly earlier this month that the famous action star is “so in love” with de Armas.
A source told the news site, “They’ve been on some dates, and it’s very low-key.” “It’s just beginning, and he’s been interested in her.”
On the other hand, the “Ghosted” star is said to be being careful.
The source said, “She doesn’t want anything to move too quickly; she’s taking it really slow.” The source also said that the couple is staying low-key because “they are protecting themselves from the intense media scrutiny.”
But after going to David Beckham’s 50th birthday party on May 3, another partygoer told Page Six that even though de Armas and Cruise “came together and had a great night and clearly enjoy hanging out,” the person has “no proof it’s romantic.”
