Kate Hudson is a great mom! The actress shared a cute video on social media on Thursday (May 22) of her middle son Ryder dancing to Alice in Chains.
The “Gonna Find Out” singer wrote in the video’s title, “Sometimes you just have to eat a salad and listen to @aliceinchains pre-show with a son.” Ryder, 21, is seen singing along to the band’s 1992 rock hit “Them Bones” while holding up an air guitar.
A few hours later, Hudson played her own show at The Roxy in West Hollywood, California. She played many songs from her 2024 debut album Glorious at the concert, such as the title track, lead single “Talk About Love,” and covers of Fleetwood Mac’s “Gypsy,” Benson Boone’s “Mystical Magical,” The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven,” and Aerosmith’s “Cryin’.”
Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, shared a video of Hudson’s performance on the band’s Instagram Stories with the caption, “We love this cover of ‘Cryin'” @katehudson.” Tyler also added a pair of praise hands and a red heart emoji from the video. Hudson answered, “Love you @iamstevent,” when he shared the post again.
When it came out in May 2024, Gloriosa made Hudson a solo artist on the Billboard charts by topping five different album charts: Heatseekers Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Vinyl Albums, and Independent Albums. It also put her at No. 5 on the Emerging Artists list.
