Rob Thomas announces a tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2025

Rob Thomas is going back to Australia. In October and November, the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty will go on a solo tour of Australia and New Zealand to promote his new record All Night Days and mark the 20th anniversary of his first solo album, Something to Be, which came out in 2005.

Thomas will start the tour with two shows in a row at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Oct. 24 and 25. On Oct. 27, he will play at the AEC Theatre in Adelaide.

Then he’ll go east for two nights at The Forum in Melbourne on Oct. 29 and 30. After that, he’ll have two shows at Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Nov. 3 and 4. On November 8, a huge public show is planned at Sandstone Point in Brisbane.

The singer-songwriter who won a Grammy will play three shows in New Zealand after his Australian dates are over. The first is on November 11 at Auckland’s Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, the second is on November 13 at Christchurch’s Town Hall, and the third is on November 15 at Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre.

Thomas told the press, “Aussie fans have always been amazing to me.” “I can’t wait to share these songs, both old and new, on a very special set of shows in one of my favorite places in the world.”

His solo hits like “Lonely No More” and “This Is How a Heart Breaks,” his duet with Santana on “Smooth,” and Matchbox Twenty classics like “3AM” and “Unwell” are all on the set list. As of now, All Night Days has not been released. It will be Thomas’ sixth solo studio record and his first since Chip Tooth Smile (2013).

A group of local artists, such as Boy & Bear, Eskimo Joe, Little Quirks, and Sara Berki, will be performing with him on different nights.
